Day 1 : Vilnius

Scheduled flight to Vilnius. Pedestrian exploration of the historical centre, a splendid monumental complex strongly marked by the Counter-Reformation and expressive of the originality of Lithuanian architects in the face of the great European artistic trends: St. Anne’s Church with its skilled interlacing of bricks, the famous Gate of Dawn, the medieval University, Gediminas’ Tower…

Day 2 : Vilnius-Trakaï

Excursion to Trakaï, the former capital of medieval Lithuania with the Gothic castle of the Great Dukes erected on an island on Lake Galvé, which presents a poetic scene. Walk around this town marked by Karaite traditions.

Day 3 : Siauliai-Rundala-Riga

Travel to Riga. On the way, stop at the Hill of Crosses in Siauliai, a curious memorial to liberty that has been spontaneously planted with thousands of crosses, and then to Rundale, a stunning Baroque castle of the Duke of Courland built by Rastrelli, the famous architect from the court of Russia.

Day 4 : Riga

Pedestrian exploration of the historical centre of Riga, a charming Hanseatic city with its network of lanes and late Gothic-style houses, its merchant guilds, the Castle of the Livonian order, the Dome Cathedral with its famous organ, and its surprising New district

Day 5 : Pärnu-Tallinn

Travel to Tallinn. One the way, stop in Pärnu, a pretty summer city and a well-known Estonian thermal centre and seaside resort.

Day 6 : Tallinn

Pedestrian exploration of the historical centre of Tallinn, a small fortified city with Swedish and Finnish influences and situated on the banks of the Gulf of Finland. The city’s intact medieval design offers a fabulous voyage in time: the lower part of the city with its town hall and brotherhoods, and the upper part with its castle and cathedral…
